Dance is a great way to exercise and have fun at the same time. It is a great corporal workout and a way to give the brain a challenge as well as our feet. And it is FAB-U-LOUS FUN! We love all dance styles and at First Dance Studios we have many dance disciplines for you to choose from. The question is – how do you know what style is for you? Come along and join us and choose for yourself.
On Saturday 3rd September 2022 from 10am we have a full day of dance for you to try out a new dance! For all ages from 16 + and no previous dance experience necessary – bring yourself and dance!
As we are all unique, wonderful individuals, the dances that appeals to us will vary. We have this handy guide for you to check out below with the timetable of the Danceathon, about the dances that suit you, your personality, your fitness levels and your musical preference. This September we are also holding a Day of Dance at the studios so you can try out as many dance and fitness styles out. The full timetable is below. What a great line up. Such a great way to come along and meet the dance, dancers and dance teachers. Marina has been dancing and keeping fit with us for over 11 years, “I’ve danced with FDS for over 10 years (and done Pilates and exercise classes) and have enjoyed every minute – from friendly fellow dancers to inspiring and supportive teachers. No matter what your ability, age and dance/ fitness requirements, there is something for everyone at the studio.” There really is something for everyone and we are looking forward to seeing you.

Whether you decide to dance ballet, try tap, check out contemporary, there are dances and fitness sessions for whatever you desire. Clothes to wear to class should be comfy, gym type clothes. It can get warm but we also have air conditioning and classes are limited to 20 people. If you do have ballet, tap, jazz shoes then great bring those along. If not, then please do get in touch with us for details. Try one or more classes and have a go!
All dancers to the dance floor because we firmly believe that everyone can dance and we welcome everyone of all abilities. If you love to dance, then join us and discover your dance. We also offer workshops and classes for beginners as well as advanced dancers so you can find your level. Come along and meet the dance teachers, talk to us about all the dance and fitness classes and dance. Also the money raised from the Danceathon will go towards the studio and for the Woking Food Bank. The price of the dance day;
£20 for 8 session and for the £30 for all 16 sessions

Our adult dance studios is based at Heather Farm in Woking and the bonus is that there is parking on site as well as toilets, cafe and space to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful views of the wetland.
